As the show continued along i saw Sasami! I thought she was so adorable and she was the type of anime character i liked in anime shows. I like the "young-LOOKING"(after all she is more than 700 years old), she has a good heart, she dresses cute, she has a cute face and a cute hair style, she has alot of good talents, as in cooking and baby sitting (ever watch the tenchi muyo episode with Taro),and (if you count pretty samy) she can fight! Thats what i call cool. she is sort of like a "younger" version of Kasumi<-(a Ranma 1/2 character). Me and my bestfriend Stephanie used to play house using the Tenchi characters. I was Sasami and Stephanie was Aeka. The both of us grew to love Tenchi Muyo very much. Eventually Stephanie saw Mihoshi and liked her but thats not the point. Anyway i have liked Sasami from when i was in 4th grade and i am now going to be a Freshman in highschool. I've never gotten sick of the Tenchi Universe episodes, the OAV's, the Pretty Samy's, even the Tenchi in Tokyo (i can't forget to add that i have watched all the tenchi movies also). I have seen the series in Japanese w/no subtitles (and i can't even understand it). growing up with anime, i learned to speak a little Japanese and i memorized most of the lyrics (english/Japanese) for tenchi songsAlso in elementary school, my friends and i used to take our favorite characters from the anime shows that we knew and use those as our nick names. I was Sasami, Chibi Usa, Ukyo(ranma),Pan (dragonball), and other characters(those are still my favorite characters). My top favorite anime character was Sasami. I also sometimes realize that Sasami and I relate in some ways. I know people think that she's just another anime character from a show but i always see things differently. I'm not a weirdo or nothing, I'm just saying there IS something about Sasami that people love. Some people know what it is, some people don't but i just wanted to say that if people feel the same way (or feel more) about sasami like me, than i think you should not take away our happiness of seeing the pretty samy movie.
